Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels are the ideal accompaniment to an air-source or ground-source heat pump installation.

As these heating technologies both draw electricity from the grid in order to run, the free electricity generated by PV on the same site can be used to subsidise the running cost of the heat pump, further reducing your energy bills.

If you are interested in having a PV array installed in conjunction with a heat pump, Navitas will pass your details on to one of our nominated PV subcontractors to specify and quote for an appropriate PV system while we go about sizing and pricing your heat pump. This collaborative process ensures that you’re provided with a heat pump installation tailored to your property, and a PV system able to reduce your running costs as far as possible, while matching your budget.

  • Ideal for installation alongside heat pumps to reduce running costs
  • Electricity generated can be used in place of power supplied from the grid, reducing costs
  • Can be installed alongside ImmerSun® to provide free hot water heating
  • Eligible for government Feed-in-Tariffs.
