Having been approached to help this community centre reduce their carbon footprint and turn to a renewable heating solution, Navitas installed and project-managed a 60kW Windhager BioWIN Excel boiler package including an automatic suction feed system and de-ashing functions along with 2no. space-saving 825L litre Windhager AccuWIN accumulator tanks, installed in a cellar which was converted into a plant room and bulk fuel store. In order to maximise the boiler’s effect, Navitas were also contracted to extend and upgrade the heating circuits in the building whilst on site for the boiler installation.

The boiler serves a space and water heating circuits for a range of activities within the centre, including the bar/restaurant on the premises and function rooms used for many different community gatherings.
